Who controls your information

BHF Auctions is the operator responsible for information processed through this platform. Our contact address is Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Privacy enquiries may be sent to privacy@bhfauctions.com.

The operator's verified legal name and trade-licence details must be inserted here before regulated commercial launch.

Information we handle

• Account and contact details, including name, email and phone number.
• Identity and verification information submitted for bidder or seller checks.
• Bids, watchlists, purchases, invoices, consignments and communications.
• Security and technical records such as session, device, access and audit information.
• Payment status and references. Card details are not collected by the current platform.

Why we use it

• To create and secure accounts and provide auction services requested by you.
• To validate bidders and sellers, prevent fraud and protect auction integrity.
• To create invoices, administer transactions and respond to enquiries.
• To meet applicable legal, tax, accounting, dispute and regulatory obligations.
• To improve service reliability using necessary operational information.

Where consent is the applicable basis, you may withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out and may not override information we must retain by law or to establish legal claims.

Sharing and international transfers

Information may be shared only as needed with identity-verification, infrastructure, storage, email, realtime-notification, professional-adviser, payment or government service providers. If data is transferred outside the UAE, BHF must apply the safeguards required by applicable UAE data-protection rules.

Retention and security

Information is retained for no longer than needed for the purpose collected, applicable legal obligations, auction records, fraud prevention and disputes. Retention periods vary by record type. We use access controls, encrypted transport, audit records and service-provider controls; no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and valid exceptions, you may request information about processing, access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, deletion or review of certain automated processing. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Cookies

The platform uses necessary cookies for authentication, security and preferences. It does not currently advertise through third-party tracking cookies. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, they must remain disabled until a user makes an informed choice.
